swissQprint presents a flexible automation option
swissQprint presented an automation option at drupa 2024, designed to maintain high productivity in flatbed printing by relieving operators of unloading tasks.
"More and more customers want to automate their printing processes while maintaining flexibility," explained Carmen Eicher, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint. The company has responded to this desire with its first presentation of an Unloading Option. The new automation module removes processed material up to 3.2x2 meters from the flatbed printer's table with the aim of facilitating the handling of large productions efficiently.
Loading continues to be done manually.
swissQprint collected customer feedback as part of the development process. "drupa is now the perfect opportunity to show the conceptual study and collect broad feedback that will feed into the final development," said Carmen Eicher. Tailored to the needs of the market, the finished product must be available in 2025.
Flexibility unaffected or even extended.
swissQprint customers appreciate the variety of applications their machines can handle. The company emphasizes that the new Unloading Option maintains the flexibility and availability of the printer. Special applications, small productions and roll-to-roll jobs are possible as before because the Unloading Option can be removed from the printer at any time.
Product panorama on the stand.
Unloading Option complemented a display of various innovations shown by swissQprint in live demonstrations at drupa 2024. First and foremost was Kudu, the advanced flatbed printer with top performance at an exceptional level of quality. This was the model used to present the Unloading Option. Also on the stand was the Karibu 2, highly efficient and versatile thanks to unique functions. And last but not least: Nyala, swissQprint's flagship, which for the past nine years has been Europe's best-selling flatbed printer in its class.
swissQprint also inspired visitors with a wide selection of applications. The neon room proved particularly popular.
Extended warranty: 36 months
Customers appreciate the total package of quality, reliability and service that swissQprint offers. The Swiss manufacturer has underlined this with a 36-month warranty on new machines, valid for all models and configurations from April 2024.
