Both swissQprint and Mutoh won awards at the EDP Awards.
swissQprint won an award for their Nyala 4 and their neon inks, while Mutoh won for their RIP software VerteLith.
Nyala 4 flatbed printer
Nyala 4 won an award in the category “Best flatbed/hybrid printer < 250 sqm/h”. The jury's reasoning was: "The fourth-generation Nyala builds on the existing foundation while offering some serious improvements … The swissQprint Nyala's environmentally friendly values are another reason why it can be considered a benchmark in large format printing."
This is the third time in a row that swissQprint's Nyala has won an EDP Award.
Neon inks for UV printing
Neon inks for UV printing are exclusively available from swissQprint - as the jury noted in its verdict for the category "Consumables / UV inks": "The first fluorescent UV-curable inks for inkjet digital printing … as well as introducing glow into advertising technology, they also deliver clear added value."
swissQprint wins the EDP Awards in two different categories clarifies their holistic approach. As Carmen Eicher, Head of Sales and Marketing at swissQprint, explains: "We aim to offer our customers comprehensive solutions that encompass hardware and inks as well as applications."
Mutoh VerteLith
Mutoh won an EDP award for their RIP software VerteLith in the “Workflow Technologies” category. In their decision, the jury emphasized that: “The VerteLith is an ideal RIP for smaller print shops. The RIP also offers functionality that you will find only at expensive RIP’s from independent RIP vendors.”
Mutoh is proud to receive the prestigious award for their new VerteLith RIP software. "Our VerteLith™ software enables Mutoh printer owners to get the best from their Mutoh printer and allows them to manage the entire print environment better and more efficiently from one central backbone software", concludes Stephan Heintjens, Mutoh Europe's Product Marketing & Product Application Manager.
Congratulations to all winners!
