Charity in NIZE equipment
NIZE equipment donates money to charity every year. It's called NIZE Charity.
NIZE Charity supports various purposes such as children's well-being, innovation, health and mental health, initiatives to promote culture and communities, sustainability, etc.
It is not by chance which organizations and projects we select.
Each year, all employees can submit proposals for organizations or initiatives that they think should receive support that year. It can be organizations and projects that work internationally and locally in the Nordic countries.
The management selects 5 from the received proposals, and then an online vote is held among the employees, where the organizations or initiatives with the most votes become this year's NIZE Charity recipients. 1st place receives DKK 15,000 and 2nd and 3rd place each receive DKK 7,500

Danish Hospital Clowns
"Give children a safe hand to hold when life in the hospital hurts"
We visit children and young people who are admitted to hospital, psychiatric wards and who are in institutions within the specialist area.
When we as hospital clowns enter a room, we see the people there – children, relatives and staff – and react to the specific atmosphere. Perhaps the hospital room needs to be transformed into a room full of play and magic. Maybe help is needed to complete a survey. Or maybe we need to put words and body to the child's pain.
The hospital clown shares his strength with the child and provides what is needed. For many children, the clown can be a safe hand to hold when life in the hospital hurts. And an anchor to return to.

A decent Christmas
"For the tenth time, we invite you to Pustervik and "En anständig Jul" for a non-committal and religiously unbound Christmas celebration. No matter who you are, you are welcome to join in the food, drink and fellowship!
The party is for everyone, and we find strength and joy in the fact that it is as mixed as possible with people who want to celebrate with us. It ranges from homeless people looking for food and warmth, elderly lonely people who may have nowhere else to go, single parents who don't have their children this Christmas, exchange students, EU migrants etc. Volunteers ensure that everyone is doing well and is satisfied all day and evening.
The event takes place on Christmas Eve (December 24) between 11:30 and 20:00. We offer Christmas food and drinks (non-alcoholic) from 12.00, just as we offer clothes/hygiene articles/Christmas gifts to all our visitors.
In previous years we have had hundreds of visitors who left us happy and warm to both body and mind. We hope that as many people want to come again this year".

Sunshine helps both women and nature
In many of the world's poorest countries, it is the woman's responsibility to ensure food on the table. Therefore, women often have to collect firewood from the local forests so that they can light a fire and cook. During the trip, they are at high risk of being assaulted and raped. At the same time, the felling of trees means that the forests are disappearing at an alarming rate.
With a solar cooker, the women do not need to fetch firewood to cook – to the delight of both people and nature.
