Responsible in relation to social and environmental conditions and employee well-being

We see ourselves as a responsible company in relation to social and environmental conditions and employee well-being. It is important that our customers, business partners and employees have the same opinion, as we want to create good and long lasting relationships with both employees, customers and suppliers. 

We have created a sustainability report based on information and data from ESG, the Danish Business Authority's climate compass and the UN's global goals. In the report we describe our initiatives and goals within ESG and sustainability. The purpose of the report is to meet our customers' demand for information, but also a wish to document the initiatives we implement focusing on becoming more sustainable.

NIZE equipment Code of Conduct

We follow the Graphical ESG codex and thus also The UN Global Compact's 10 principles for responsible business conduct. We are commited to continuously improving our effort in sustainability and responsible business conduct and expect the same from our value chain.
These are our guidelines for how we work ethically and practically with the ten principles within human rights, employee rights, the environment and anti-corruption.

Human rights

Everyone is free and equal, there must be no discrimination.

  • We do not accept harassment, threats of violence, bullying and strongly distance ourselves from offensive behavior and sexual harassment
  • We respect each other's privacy regarding sensitive personal information
  • We are committed to equal pay for equal work and decent conditions regarding working hours, holidays and hours of rest

Employee rights

We commit to have decent working conditions and a good working environment. Elected representatives for the employees are involved in the work with the company's working environment.

We ensure that no child labor is used in our own company or with our suppliers and business partners.

All machines are risk-assessed, and instructions have been drawn up and instructed in safe operation. Employees use safety footwear and protective equipment (including hearing protection) when necessary. A sufficient number of people have undergone first aid.

The workplace is designed to prevent poor working posisitons and movements in the best possible way. We take into account the condition of pregnant and breastfeeding women And perform a risk assessment.

There must be a clean and pleasant indoor climate at the workplace and our employees have access to clean and adequate bathing conditions and toilets.

Environment

We commit to establish and secure documentation of how both our own production and our products affect the climate.

We are committed to selecting and processing raw materials residual products from production that promotes efficient further recycling. We ensure that we constantly optimize the disposal of the company's general waste.

We use the least dangerous chemical substances and products, and replace with better ones if possible. There is sufficient ventilation in the work area. We ensure proper storage, handling and disposal of chemicals and other dangerous substances.

We are committed to minimising waste water discharge and VOC emissions and to using the cleanest technology whenever possible.

Anti-corruption

We do not accept or participate in collaborations that include bribery, money laundering, abuse of power for sexual gain and anti-competitive activities.
